Quality dance training in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.
I started Donna's Dance Place in 1984 with a handful of teachers offering a few dozen classes. Today we have a staff of 18 professional instructors and offer approximately one hundred classes. Our 
youngest students are three years old. Our oldest are...well, let's just say we have many adult students who remain young-at-heart.
My philosophy is and always has been that dance must be fun. If it's not, then what's the point. But part of the fun is improvement. Learning, growing, and achieving. Becoming the best that you want to and are able to be.
At Donna's Dance Place, we offer classes in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, hip-hop, and aerobics for all levels and all ages of dancers, and pre-school combination classes for 3, 4 & 5 year olds.
For advanced students, we also have three dance troupes, a Competition Troupe, a Performing Troupe and Junior Troupe. These groups perform and compete throughout the Midwest and have won numerous awards.
I'm very proud of our facility which has two ballrooms with recessed wood floors. They were built specifically for dancers, with spacers beneath so they're easy on joints and great for tapping. We have soundproof walls and state-of-the-art sound equipment. The studio includes a viewing window, coffee shop, dance wear store, lobby and changing rooms.
I'm equally proud of our faculty, which is the strength of our studio. Please read short biographies on each of our instructors in this web site.
But, what I think I'm most proud of is the caring attitude and family atmosphere that fills our studio. Parents of our students are a vital aspect of who we are and what we are . From creating this web site to running the office & coffee shop, to seeing that the recital runs without a hitch. Families of our dancers provide incredible support and they are who we think of when we say and truly believe
